Weleda Calendula Ointment can be used for the local treatment of superficial wounds, abrasions and inflammations of the skin. The ointment has an anti-inflammatory and healing action. It activates the normal irrigation of the skin as well as the formation of granulation tissue.

Its effect is due to an extract of the medicinal plant Calendula officinalis (marigold).

Using advice :

Apply Weleda Calendula Ointment several times a day to the injured area. Please follow the dosage given on the package insert or prescribed by your doctor. If the infant/child's expected improvement does not occur, have him examined by a doctor. Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you think that the effectiveness of the medicine is too weak or, on the contrary, too strong.
