Acné

In short, acne is formed by the obstruction of the pilosebaceous follicles following an excessive production of sebum and the accumulation of dead cells. Depending on the stage or degree of severity, this results in inflammation of the skin and the proliferation of bacteria (Propionibacterium Acnes), which forms those famous unsightly red and white pimples.

The main cause of acne is hormonal (excess androgens), especially in young people, but various factors can influence it. Hence the means to slow down its appearance, and avoid reaching a stage where recourse to the dermatologist is necessary.
